Legal
The documents that govern working with us.
These govern every engagement — the terms of using the site and workspace, how we handle your information, how to raise a complaint, and how we are paid.
Document 01
Terms of service
The rules that apply when you use this website and workspace.
In force
- What we provide
- We provide advisory and preparation services about business funding. We are not a lender, and nothing on this site is an offer of credit or a commitment to lend.
- Your responsibility
- The information and documents you give us must be accurate and yours to share. Decisions about your business remain yours.
- Changes and termination
- You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend access where the law, a regulator, or our own safety rules require it.
Document 02
Privacy notice
What personal and business information we hold, why, and for how long.
In force
- What we hold
- Account details, the business information you enter, documents you upload, and a record of who accessed them and when.
- Who can see it
- Only you, people you invite, and the staff working on your case. Anything shared outside that requires your specific, recorded permission.
- Your control
- You can withdraw a permission at any time from the permissions page. Withdrawal stops future sharing immediately.
Document 03
Complaints
How to raise a problem with us and what happens next.
In force
- Raising a complaint
- Tell us in writing what happened and what outcome you want. We acknowledge every complaint and record it.
- What we do
- A person not involved in the original work reviews it, and we write to you with our findings and any correction.
Document 04
Business-sale brokerage
The disclosures that apply to selling or buying a business through this site.
In force
- Not a securities offering
- Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, a security. Businesses listed here are sold as going concerns under a brokerage mandate, not by securities offering.
- Valuations and readiness reads
- Valuation bands and readiness scores are screening estimates built from the information provided. They are not an appraisal, a formal valuation, or a fairness opinion — where a lender, court or co-owner needs one, a qualified specialist is the right route.
- Listing figures
- Figures shown are broker-stated bands from the seller's recast records, not audited accounts. The confidential memorandum carries the verified detail.
- Confidential access
- Confidential memorandums and data-room documents are shared under a signed confidentiality agreement. Every access is recorded for the seller, and access can be withdrawn.
- Outcomes
- Market figures are reported industry context, not a forecast or a promise about any individual sale. A business sale takes preparation and the right buyer. Nothing here guarantees a sale, a price, or a timeline — outcomes vary by business.
- State licensing
- Business-sale brokerage is regulated state by state. Listings in states where marketing is restricted are handled by manual review or referred to a licensed partner — the gate is shown on each listing.
Document 05
Disclosures
How we are paid, and where our interests could differ from yours.
In force
- How we are paid
- By fees you agree in advance, and in some cases by a funder on a completed facility. Both are disclosed to you in writing before you commit.
- Conflicts
- Where a funder pays us more than another, we tell you before you choose. We do not rank options by what we earn.
